Interact with locals, stay in private Bhutanese homes, learn about their unique culture and find out what makes Bhutan the Happiest country in the world!
We are trying to indulge in the local culture of this unique nation, as much as we can. Right from the way we travel, in local buses, trying some local dishes (Also some local drinks), staying in amazing homestays and sometimes staying with the local families in their private homes itself.
August would be an offseason in Bhutan so we would be some of the very few travelers during that time. There would be rains but we will be able to cover all the places. We will just need a poncho and some good spirit!
Please note that this is a backpacking trip we will be staying in homestays and budget hotels. This trip might not be suitable for families and people looking for luxuries or too much privacy while traveling.
